Quincy Community Schools Where Career Preparation is a K-12 Mission Quincy Community Schools is proud to assist our students to become life long learners as they prepare for their future as happy, healthy, and productive citizens. Our career preparation program begins in Jennings Elementary and continues through graduation from Quincy High School. Students are exposed to several careers within the Six Michigan Career Pathways, complete many classroom units and activities designed to help our students understand how to make an informed decision about a career, and to develop an understand that career choices are not gender related. We are dedicated to assisting our students to benefit from the rewards of choosing a........ Career by Choice Not by Chance What will you be doing for the next 35-40 years? That is an important consideration as young people begin to pursue a career. Whether you enter the work force immediately following graduation or whether you go on to college, the choice of a career that is best suited to you is most important. So how do you make that choice? You begin by planning. What are you interested in? Where do you go for help? What do you like? What type of work atmosphere do you want? Where do you want to live? What training will you need? What is an EDP?
